Surrounded by some of the Piedmont’s most lovely attributes, Historic Riverview is waiting to host you and your guests. Our staff is experienced, accommodating, supportive and open to your ideas and creativity. We will be honored to work along side you to make your celebration or ceremony remarkable. Each wedding venue will include the following:
- Exclusive use of the property and the privacy afforded by the surrounding 300+ acres
- Historic Riverview Event Coordinator to serve as point of contact for the rehearsal, wedding ceremony and/or reception
- Ample, festival-style parking with attendants
- List of preferred vendors and local resources
- Use of grounds furniture…and much more!

Historic Riverview on the James provided an absolute breathtaking venue for Rachel and Graham’s wedding on October 20, 2012. Rachel’s dream of an autumn outdoor wedding on the bank of the river came true in the most charming way. This was HR’s first wedding ceremony at their river site location, and everything flowed so flawlessly that it felt as if they had done it a hundred times.
